Postnatal support
Postnatal Support is just as important as Ante-Natal Support.
Our experience in understanding and catering to the needs of children, enable us to offer a variety of value adding services to parents.
We offer support to aid an optimal routine, a good night’s rest, and succeeding in newly found roles i.e., mother and father.
Cost: R550.00 per consult.
Breastfeeding support
Like any new skill, breastfeeding takes knowledge and practice to be successful.
Pregnant women who learn about how to breastfeed are more likely to be successful than those who do not.
Breastfeeding consultations offer pregnant women and their partners the chance to prepare and ask questions before their baby’s arrival.
Cost: R550.00 per hour consult, claimable by Medical Aid.
Baby immunisations
Government vaccines for infants, children and adults, at both branches, recorded in your Road to Health book. We book your next visit with you before you leave and confirm it a day or two beforehand.
R400.00 per consult, claimable from your medical aid.
Cost: R400.00 per consult, claimable by Medical Aid.
4D baby sonar scans
Bond with your baby before birth through a beautiful 4D sonar experience.
This non-diagnostic scan is ideal for moms between 26 and 32 weeks pregnant, offering a glimpse of your baby’s features in a calm, supportive setting.
Cost: R550.00 per scan.
Maternal immunisation
Maternal immunisation tile: the RSV and whooping cough vaccines for moms-to-be, from 28 weeks, at both branches, with the two prices.
Cost: RSV vaccine (approx. R4,500.00, from a pharmacy with a prescription) injected at the clinic for R250.00 and the whooping cough (Tdap) vaccine at R250, consultation included.

Where to find us
Consultations are held at our two Pretoria branches. Immunisations and maternal immunisation run at both Mediclinic Kloof (Erasmuskloof) and Zuid-Afrikaans Hospital (Muckleneuk); postnatal support, breastfeeding support and 4D scans are at Zuid-Afrikaans Hospital only.
