A calm place for immunisations
Nobody enjoys immunisation day, least of all the person holding the baby. We keep it quiet, unhurried and as gentle as it can be, in rooms your baby already knows from weighing and check-ups.
SR Adéle is a registered midwife, and she will talk you through what is happening, answer your questions honestly, and give you time afterwards to settle and feed before you leave.
How we keep it gentle
We book enough time so that nobody is rushed. You hold your baby throughout. Feeding or comforting straight afterwards is encouraged, and there is space to do it here rather than in the car. We will explain what to expect over the next day or two, and exactly when to phone us or your doctor if you are worried.

Immunisations are available at both our branches, by appointment.

What to bring
Your baby’s Road to Health book, your medical aid card, and a dummy, blanket or whatever comforts your little one. A feed afterwards helps enormously, so bring what you need for that too.
Staying on schedule
Immunisations follow a schedule from birth through the toddler years, and it is easy to lose track when you are not sleeping. So we take that job off your hands. We record every visit in your baby’s Road to Health book, book your next appointment with you before you leave the room, and phone or message you a day or two beforehand to confirm. You do not have to remember a thing. Please bring the book along to every visit and keep it safely at home in between – it stays with you, not with us.

We offer government vaccines for infants, children and adults, recorded in your Road to Health book. Immunisations are R400.00 per consult, claimable from your medical aid.
