About this clinic
Our Zuid-Afrikaans Hospital branch is the heart of SR Adéle de Beer’s practice. You will find us in the Main Entrance Corridor at ZAH, 255 Bourke Street, Muckleneuk, Pretoria, 0002, inside Dr. Jana Bloem’s Consulting Room – easy to reach from Brooklyn, Waterkloof, Nieuw Muckleneuk and the city centre, and a straight run up from Centurion.
This is where almost everything happens – the Saturday antenatal class, Sunday CPR and first aid training, postnatal and breastfeeding consults, 4D baby sonar scans, immunisations for babies, children and adults, maternal immunisation for moms-to-be, and free collection of any mom supplement order. If Erasmuskloof is closer for you, immunisations, maternal immunisation and supplement collection are also available at our Mediclinic Kloof branch.

What you can do at our Zuid-Afrikaans branch.
Antenatal classes
Our full-day class for you and your support person, on selected Saturdays from 9am to 4pm. R2,300 per couple in cash or R2,500 by card, lunch and refreshments included.
Postnatal support
A full hour for weighing, feeding checks, settling and sleep guidance, and honest conversation about how you are coping. R550 per consult.
Breastfeeding support
A full hour of practical help with latching, comfort and supply questions, at your pace. R550 per hour, claimable from your medical aid.
4D baby sonar scans
A full hour to meet your baby’s face, for moms between 26 and 32 weeks. R550, with your images sent straight to your WhatsApp. Scans are done here and nowhere else.
Immunisations
Government vaccines for infants, children and adults, recorded in your Road to Health book. R400 per consult, claimable from your medical aid. Also available at our Mediclinic Kloof branch.
Maternal immunisation
The RSV and whooping cough (Tdap) vaccines for moms-to-be, from 28 weeks, so your baby is born already carrying your protection. RSV vaccine (approx. R4,500.00, from a pharmacy with a prescription) injected at the clinic for R250.00 and the whooping cough (Tdap) vaccine at R250, consultation included and claimable from your medical aid. Also available at our Mediclinic Kloof branch.
CPR and first aid for parents
Hands-on infant and child CPR and everyday first aid, on selected Sundays from 8am to 1pm. R1,200 per person.
Mom supplement collection
Free collection of any order from the Mom Supplements range.
Saturday antenatal classes
Our flagship antenatal class runs on selected Saturdays from 9am to 4pm at Zuid-Afrikaans Hospital. It is a full day, deliberately – because there is a lot to cover and you deserve time to ask everything.
We work through pregnancy, caesarean section, breastfeeding and what happens at home in the first three months, plus possible emergency scenarios and foetal stimulation presented by the well-known Practica Group.
You and your support person are both welcome, and nothing is off the table. Lunch and refreshments are included, and the cost is R2,300 per couple in cash or R2,500 by card.

Centurion moms are a straight run up the Ben Schoeman, and moms in Pretoria East travel in for classes and consults too.
